We’ve put a couple of posts up recently about Sara Jackson who has just returned from volunteering for Dramatic Need in Rwanda. But now Sara is on a different mission: to repair the roof of Espoir Primary School in Rwamagama, Rwanda. Espoir is one of the four schools Dramatic Need works with in the region and whilst Sara was there the roof collapsed in one of the classrooms. The school absolutely can’t afford to buy a new roof and with the rainy season in mid-flow this could be disastrous for the children who are already crammed into classrooms….

Sara and Adam Smith (another Dramatic Need volunteer still in Rwanda) carry a piece of the roof back to town….

Sara has this to say:

Just before I left the roof of the school I was working in fell off. This is a major disaster for the school, they simply cannot afford the new roof so I am hoping to help them out. On Sept 25th I will be running half a marathon to raise money for the school. Please, if you can, go to www.justgiving.com/schoolroof and sponsor me. All the money will go straight to the school, so please help!
